1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to DeadLands ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DeadLands website, game servers (RedM), Discord server, and all associated back-end systems and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of our Platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this Platform. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (including linked Discord, Steam, or Rockstar accounts) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@deadlands.gg of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Prohibited Conduct & Acceptable Use
When utilizing the Platform, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes.
- Engage in hacking, exploitation, cheating, or utilizing unauthorized third-party modifications within our game servers.
- Scrape, spider, crawl, or use automated systems to extract data, media, or code from our website or servers.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, staff members, or third parties.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any security measures implemented on the Platform.
4. Third-Party Services & Integrations
Our Platform integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to Rockstar Games (Red Dead Redemption 2), Cfx.re (RedM), Discord, and payment processors (e.g., Tebex). Your use of these services is subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. DeadLands is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
5. Virtual Items & Purchases
Any purchases, donations, or acquisitions of in-game virtual assets (e.g., horses, items, roles) are processed through approved third-party gateways (such as Tebex) in compliance with Cfx.re monetization policies. You acknowledge that you are purchasing a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access these digital goods. You do not own the digital assets. All transactions are final, and we reserve the right to revoke virtual access in the event of a chargeback, fraud, or violation of server rules.
6. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to the Platform (including banning you from the game server and Discord) for any violation of these Terms or internal server rules. In the event of termination, you are not entitled to refunds for any virtual items or donations.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. DeadLands makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the uptime, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation of the website or game servers. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DeadLands and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to data loss, server wipes, or unauthorized account access.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia (country), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia.
